I am grateful I had the opportunity to create this quilt out of military uniforms.  My son’s father-in-law, Victor, saved

many of his uniforms from his time at The Citadel. We were able to incorporate his dress pants, dress shirts,

physical training shirts, his hat, his blankets and his athletic letter into the quilt. In keeping with the patriotic theme,

I quilted the top with a meandering star. I believe Victor plans to hang this quilt in his study. I hope this quilt

will be a visual and tactile reminder of Victor’s impressive time at The Citadel.
