Month: April 2016
I met a new delightful client that decided to have two quilts made for her best friend’s wedding: one for the bride and one for the groom! What a thoughtful and generous wedding gift! 🙂 Then, Lynn decided to make the gift complete, she wanted a pillow made that combined shirts from both the bride and groom. Lynn painted the couple’s new monogram onto burlap for the front of the pillow. It was a great idea and then Lynn finished the pillow with this great quote:
“Grow old along with me……the best is yet to be!”
(Couldn’t agree more 🙂
Graduation is just a month away and I delivered my first graduation quilt of the season today! Graduation is such an exciting time….. students are ready to be done, parents are nervous and the world is waiting to see what you will do! Stay tuned….about 10 more quilts to show soon! 🙂
A few wise words from Dr. Seuss:
“You have brains in your head; You have feet in your shoes; You can steer yourself any direction you choose!!!”
This quilt is for a beautiful young lady in Roswell – and her mother saved clothes for the last 18 years to celebrate this event! It’s the first time we have attached an entire baby dress AND the bloomers that go with it! So sweet and sentimental!!!
